SOUL FOOD FARM RESERVE
THE FARMSTAND
Welcome to Soul Food Farm Reserve, a Farmstand. From the beginning, I have dreamed of a space where we could offer nutrient-dense food from local farmers who prioritize regenerative and organic practices. And our community's support could make that dream a reality.
Today, we enter the next chapter in our farmstand's story. We are offering Private Memberships to help us build a new model called Soul Food Farm Reserve, The Farmstand. We know that eating food from a place or region that you are connected to is powerfully intimate. The way food is grown, the sun, the soil's health, and the farmers' intention connect us profoundly to the land and agriculture.
We understand that you may have questions about this change. Private membership is not mandatory; it is an opportunity to join our community and support local small-family farmers. As a member, you are helping us build the farmstand in what we envision as a community-based hub for locally grown food. As a Member, you will receive 15% off all our workshops and events. We are planning also to host a special members only event sometime in the summer of 2025—plans to be announced. We will maintain complete transparency about the provenance of our products so that you can trust what you're buying. We want to offer local, regional food from small family farms. Food that is nutrient-dense, clean, and grown with responsible practices that consider the health of the soil, plants, animals, labor, and the consumer. We know that you, the customer, want to have choices about where your food comes from
We would love for you to join us in this new model; it will allow us to build resilience into our farmstand and support our local agricultural community. If you live far away from us, please consider becoming a member. Small farms play a vital role in food security, climate reliance, and diversity of species. Your membership is an action with ripple effects that help keep small farms alive.
To become a member, please purchase your membership below. As a member, you are the foundational customers helping us build the farmstand into a community center that believes in lifting up the farmers and ensuring everyone has access to locally grown food. We are working with farmers, ranchers, and bakers to bring you everything we can source that is seasonal and grown nearby. To purchase meat and poultry, we will be inviting local ranchers as Farm Guests to sell their meat directly to you, the members. We will be announcing dates and times by email and on social media.
In celebration of this upcoming season, we will be expanding our hours to
OPEN HOURS: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, from 9 am to 5 pm. Sundays are reserved for workshops and special events.
We hope to see you soon at Soul Food Farm Reserve!
