Café Rouge benefit dinner *canceled* :-(

Sept 30 Update: We have just heard that the Cafe Rouge benefit dinner has been canceled, due to unforeseen circumstances and slow ticket sales. This is very disappointing — the menu looked great, and we had high hopes for raising funds from it.

Tons of prizes for Soul Food Farm raffle

Online ticket sales ended at 5:30 p.m. today.  They can also be bought in person at the Pizzaiolo event, Oct 11 1-5 pm.

Wow. I supposedly have a big vocabulary, but that’s the only word I’ve been able to utter, over and over. Ever since news got out that Soul Food Farm was in trouble, the response has just been overwhelming.

Bi-Rite Market is holding a raffle for Soul Food Farm!

Bi-Rite Market, the independent San Francisco supermarket that has always been an incredible supporter of local farms (see Edible San Francisco cover story), has put together a Soul Food Farm Recovery Fund Raffle.
